Weekly Update 7/8/15

I have been so busy it isn't funny, the last two weeks. Mostly busy with trying to get along with no water in the house. Its funny how that one fact can take over your entire life. Thanks to some friends, we didn't lack for showers or laundry, but it took up every waking minute, trying to fill and haul gallons of water, and cook or go out, wow. I love running water. I love it soooooooo much. It turned out to be just a part inside the well that needed replacing.

I didn't get to work out or walk, while the water was off, because I could not reliably get a shower when I was done. Consequently I gained 5 pounds, back up to 312. That sucks. Fortunately I am in a place where I know what to do to get back on track, so hopefully I can just get back to it without too much trouble. I have Poly-cystic Ovarian Syndrome, and one of the problems with that is that I gain weight so incredibly easily. Anyway I am a bit discouraged by this, but yesterday I got back to the mat, and walked 2 miles as well. I was actually a bit surprised to find that yoga was easier than expected. I guess the time off gave my body a rest, without letting me slip backwards too much.

The other big momentous event is that Hubby has gone away to truck-driving school. We had a whirlwind few days, trying to get all his laundry done (with no water!) and get him safely away. He will be gone a month at least. I hope to spend my time while he is gone wisely, and maybe hit my short term goal of getting under 300 on the scale. 12 pounds to go on that one!
